Analysts revise 2015 growth forecast for Mexico downward

Financial analysts have revised their 2015 economic growth forecast for Mexico downward from 2.31 percent in September to 2.29 percent in October, the Bank of Mexico said, citing the results of a survey.

Analysts also cut their 2016 gross domestic product (GDP) forecast from 2.83 percent to 2.79 percent, but they revised their 2017 forecasts upward from 3.30 percent to 3.32 percent.

Economic analysts expect Mexico to finish this year with an inflation rate of 2.66 percent, with the exchange rate settling at 16.75 pesos per dollar.
