Longtime diplomat tapped to be ambassador to Mexico

Roberta JacobsonDallas News – President Barack Obama on Monday nominated a longtime diplomat to become the next U.S. ambassador to Mexico. Roberta S. Jacobson, 53, is assistant secretary of state for Western Hemisphere affairs and in recent months has played a key role in working toward restoring relations with Cuba.
