Reintroduced scarlet macaws adapt to food scene

Scarlet macawMongabay – Researchers from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and the Pontifical Xavierian University in Columbia found that scarlet macaws reintroduced to the tropical rain forests of Palenque were able to adapt to food in the area. Prior to reintroduction, the scarlet macaw had been absent from the forests for 70 years.
